Golan Levin
Artist Statement:
Golan Levin is interested in creating artifacts and experiences which explore supple new modes of audiovisual expression. Between 1998 and 2000, he studied with John Maeda in the Aesthetics and Computation Group at the MIT Media Laboratory; prior to this, he worked as a research scientist and interaction designer at Interval Research Corporation for four years. Golan has exhibited interactive artworks and performances at several venues, including
the SIGGRAPH 1996 and 2000 Art Shows, ISEA 1997, Ars Electronica 1997 and 2000, the San Jose Technology Museum of Innovation, and the American Museum of the Moving Image. He currently works at Design Machine in New York City.
